ALIKE received $11,000 Racial Equity Fund from KW Community Foundation for Afterschool Program

We have great news to share. The Association of Liberian Immigrants in Kitchener Environs (ALIKE) has been selected to receive up to $11,000. We received this fund from the Kitchener Waterloo Foundation in partnership with the Astley Family Foundation. It is a Racial Equity Fund that will expand ALIKE afterschool homework support program to assist racialized children and youth living in affordable housing in the Kitchener-Waterloo Region. Thanks to the generosity from the Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation (KWCF) for investing in our afterschool program to advance racial equity in our community.
